Help Window Seat raise funds for our Pride Storytelling Project, a branch of our Community Roots Oral History Project in partnership with Capital City Pride, documenting local LGBTQIAA2S+ history. All proceed will go directly to support this documentation effort and our cohort of Queer community oral historians.

Come connect in community and share memories about how our local LGBTQIAA2S+ history - community spaces, events, organizations, and people - has impacted you. Learn more about how to get involved spsgives.org and get ready to participate when the campaign goes live, Nov 11-22, 2024. We'll be raising much-needed organizational funds alongside many of our wonderful nonprofit colleagues.

Event flow

• 5:30 p.m.    Mingle, get food, and drinks
• 6:00 pm - 6:15 p.m.    Welcome & cohort member testimony
• 6:15 - 6:45 p.m.    Facilitated listening and story-sharing: What gifts have you received from our local Queer history? What do you wish for the next generation of Queer storytellers?
• 6:45 p.m. - 7:00 p.m.    An invitation to donate to Window Seat's Give Local campaign & closing
  

Considerations

While reservations are free, this is a fundraiser and we will have a direct ask to support our cause at the closing of the event. We can accommodate up to 30 guests who are 21+.
